The Zanu PF Mbare 2 district Women's League has passed a vote of no confidence in chairwoman, Pamela Tsvanhu on allegations of misappropriating party funds.
Tsvanhu is also accused of fanning factionalism, corruption and alleged theft of party funds earmarked for various projects, among other charges.
The Harare Province Zanu PF's Women's League said Tsvanhu's conduct undermines the ruling party, adding that the vote of no confidence will be forwarded to the main board.
"Tsvanhu must go. The way she has been conducting herself goes contrary to the dictates party members must adhere to," said Ratidzo Mukarati, the Zanu PF Harare Provincial Women's League Chairperson.
