Fuel scam: MD released on bail

Managing director of Pickglow Trading (Pvt) Ltd Aaron Chinhara who is accused of importing over 33 million litres of fuel worth millions of dollars for resale on the pretext that it was meant for the Zimbabwe Defence Industries, yesterday appeared in court charged with fraud involving $10 385 000.
Pickglow Trading (Pvt) Ltd owns Glow Petroleum service stations.
He appeared before Milton Serima who granted him $2 000 bail with the State's consent and as part of his bail conditions Chinhara was ordered to surrender his passport forthwith and to report once a week at CID Serious Frauds.
