'MDC-T stalls development in Binga,' says Obert Mpofu

Zanu-PF politburo member from Matebeleland North Obert Mpofu has said Binga is lagging behind in development because it always votes for the opposition MDC-T party that will never come into power.

Addressing thousands of Binga villagers who attended a party to celebrate the nomination of provincial members into the central committee and politburo at Binga District Centre on Saturday, Mpofu said voting for a party that had nothing to offer was tantamount to voting for underdevelopment.

Binga has remained the only district in Zimbabwe that is still waiting for development because people there are still waiting for MDC to come into power and they have been waiting for more than 20 years in vain because MDC will never rule this country.

Mpofu said people should not vote for MDC because it has nothing to offer.
