Prophet Magaya donates $88,000 for school fees

PHD Ministries founder Walter Magaya has forked out $88000 which will be used to pay school fees for vulnerable children. The funds were distributed among 345 pupils yesterday.

245 children are from Kaitano Primary School in Mt. Darwin while the remainder were from different schools in Harare.

Magaya adopted the children from the marginalised district after he received a prophecy about one Lustina Chidaka who had a burning desire to assist vulnerable children but did not have the resources.

He said the good will gesture was borne out of the need to ensure that children enjoy their right to education.

Beneficiaries from Mt. Darwin received fees covering the whole year amounting to $7,350 excluding school uniforms and stationery that were also given to the learners.

Chidaka who is a home-based care giver working with the ministry of Health identified the needy children.

The 57 year old Chidaka said that it was her desire to mobilise fees for the children.
