Zanu-PF responds to Didymus Mutasa

The Zanu PF Secretary for Information and Publicity, Simon Khaya Moyo says it is deeply worrying that the former Secretary for Administration, Didymus Mutasa has sought to issue disparaging remarks regarding the party's last congress when he was in keeping with the party's constitution.
Khaya Moyo said it is more disturbing to hear that such remarks were made by Mutasa, who was actually responsible for convening of the party's 6th congress held in December, as well as inviting delegates.
He said Mutasa was also involved at every stage of the process of preparing the congress and only failed to attend the actual congress on health grounds.
Khaya Moyo added that the claim that the congress and amendments to the party's constitution were done unprocedurally is therefore misplaced.
He said the amendments to the party constitution were completely procedural as they were discussed by the Politiburo, approved by the Central Committee and endorsed by congress.
