New Zimbabwe voters roll on cards

The poll management body, the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission will this week issue a comprehensive response to concerns from the opposition among them centred around the voters roll, chairperson Rita Makarau has said.

Makarau a respected jurist said she was confident that Zec will deliver an undisputed poll our come on March 27 when the two by-elections in Mashonaland Central and Midlands, previously held by ex-vice president Joice Mujuru and her successor Emmerson Mnangagwa.

Makarau yesterday while pushing the issue of electoral reform onto the Justice ministry's lap said consultations were still underway among stakeholders to re-align the law.
