'Britain bankrolling Mujuru,' says Moyo

Zimbabwe's former colonial master, Britain, has turned to funding an internal rebellion in Zanu-PF after failing in its regime change bid through the opposition, Information Minister Jonathan Moyo said yesterday.

Moyo said the country's former imperial power Britain was now funding axed former Vice President Joice Mujuru and her cabal in a bid to oust President Robert Mugabe by force.

The Rhodesian realised that the MDC failed and woke up with a new plan to destroy the nationalist party from the belly.

They identified hardliners and moderates from within the ruling party, in the process, turning the regime-change issue into a party issue.

He said now Britain is using Mujuru and her counterparts that have started presenting themselves as new blood.
