President Mugabe will host Big Brother Amplified co-winner Wendall Parsons at a luncheon at State House tomorrow, Youth Development, Indigenisation and Empowerment Minister Saviour Kasukuwere announced yesterday.
The President has also invited BBA participant Vimbai Mutinhiri and Comrades Ultra-marathon triple winner Stephen Muzhingi to the luncheon.
"President Mugabe has invited the winner to lunch at the State House on Thursday, to celebrate the victory.
"The President takes this opportunity to congratulate Wendall and Vimbai for their successful participation and victory in BBA House. "We as the Ministry are proud of their achievement. We also recognise the role played by Vimbai Mutinhiri as she is a bright young girl.
"These are two young people who have shown how successful Zimbabweans can be. Stephen had not been honoured yet but it was felt that this was the right to time to give him that respect," said Minister Kasukuwere.
Wendall and Vimbai return home today and fans are expected to throng Harare International Airport to welcome the duo.
Meanwhile, Wendall is reported to be up for a big surprise today when he touches down at the Harare International Airport.
Already, some businessmen led by property mogul Philip Chiyangwa are seeking to reward Wendall in a big way for bringing glory to Zimbabwe.
Chiyangwa last year rewarded Munyaradzi Chidzonga with some cool $200 000. He said they decided to reward Chidzonga, who lost in the Big Brother All Stars season, as a message to encourage "fair play".
Minister Kasukuwere said the Zimbabwe Youth Council would lead Zimbabweans who want to welcome the first-ever Zimbabwean to win the reality show.
The Zimbabwean pilot and the country's last representative in the Big Brother Africa amplified, Wendall, won the big prize of US$200 000.
He shared the first position with Nigeria Karen Igho after surviving 91 days during the reality show
