There were scenes of wild jubilation at the Harare International Airport this afternoon as Zimbabwe's Big Brother Amplified housemates Wendall Parson and Vimbai Mutinhiri came back home.
Hundreds of Big Brother Amplified fans converged at the Harare International Airport to give a befitting welcome to local boy and winner of the 3 month long Reality Show, Wendall Parsons who arrived with his fellow housemate, Vimbai Mutinhiri.
Wendall's multitudes of fans descended at the airport to meet their hero in flesh and celebrate his triumph with much pomp and funfair.
Screaming fans waving flags and traditional dancing groups waited eagerly to meet the new star as he arrived.
Some were driving cars pasted with Wendall's pictures and most had nothing but praises for the new born star.
Scores of fans waited, some for over an hour, for the two housemates to arrive and when they did it was one mass scene of Zimbo ecstasy.
Vimbai made it as far as the penultimate eviction show on July 24 and Wendall went on to win one of the two first prizes of US$200 000.
During a media conference held later in the capital, the two celebrities hailed Zimbabwean fans for supporting them throughout the show.
