Mugabe gets cold feet

President Robert Mugabe today developed cold feet on firing long time ally Didymus Mutasa from Zanu PF.
Mugabe last week attacked Mutasa, labeling him an "old braying ass" after the former Zanu PF secretary for administration dismissed as illegal the recent part congress and the appointments made after.
Mugabe chaired the Zanu PF politburo meeting in Harare where Mutasa's fate was discussed.
Mutasa's home province of Manicaland had written to the politburo recommending that he be fired for defying Mugabe and the party's leadership.
The politburo however resolved that Mutasa is disciplined for his actions.
"A Committee was set and tasked with disciplining Mutasa. The Committee will engage him soon," said a Zanu PF source.
