Zimbabwe's labour statues are today expected to come under the spotlight when the country's Supreme Court hears a case of former BP employees challenging their dismissal through the three month notice law.

Labour law experts yesterday said the case would have far reaching implications on labour administration in the country. BP was taken over by Zuva Petroleum owned by renowned banker, John Mushayavanhu.

Zuva Petroleum is embroiled in a nasty legal battle with two of its workers, Don Nyamande and Kingstone Donga.

Nyamande and Donga are represented by renowned labour lawyer Caleb Mucheche of Matsikidze and Mucheche legal practioners.
