Woman caught red handed

A MARRIED man has said he found his wife undressed with another man in their matrimonial bed before she and her lover fought him.
Lenon Chipika told the court that when he entered the room, his wife Nothando Ndlovu nearly struck him with an iron bar before they struggle and she ran outside undressed and caused his arrest.
He added that the boyfriend also managed to sneak out undressed after he overpowered him in the fighting.
This came out in a matter in which Chipika is facing allegations of physical abuse against his wife.
It is alleged that he assaulted her after a misunderstanding over a dollar which the woman reportedly used without his consent.
He denied the allegations before Chitungwiza magistrate Lazarus Murendo saying the woman wanted to 'fix' him and gave the caught a narrative of his defence based on the infidelity claim.
He was remanded in custody for trial but the matter would not proceed yesterday as the woman disappeared.
It is said on December 7 at around 1pm, Chipika assaulted his wife after a misunderstanding over $1.
The husband was reportedly angry that his wife had used the money without her consent.
The woman reportedly went and made a police report leading to the arrest of her husband and his subsequent appearance in court.
Prosecutor Norman Koropi is appearing for the State.
