Wife bashed for dating landlord

A MARRIED man ran berserk assaulting his wife accusing her of having an affair with their landlord.
Denis Chikasha who is suspected to have been intoxicated arrived home from a bar and confronted his wife Yeukai Masvosve with the allegations before assaulting her.
He appeared before a Chitungwiza magistrate answering to allegations of physical abuse.
It is said, on February 5, Chikasha got home around 4 am from a bar. He went on to wake his mother and told her that he was about to unleash a reign of terror.
He then opened the bedroom door where Masvosve was sleeping and pulled the blankets from her.
Chikasha began accusing the woman of having a love relationship with their landlord.
He turned physical and went on to slap the woman before punching her. She was lucky not to sustain any injuries.
A report was made with the police leading to the arrest of Chikasha and his subsequent appearance in court.
Prosecutor Norman Koropi appeared for the State.
