Faceless Facebook mole Baba Jukwa who caused a stir within Zanu-PF ahead of the 2013 general elections through release of sensitive and damaging information about the party and President Robert Mugabe, has resurfaced on the social media platform.
The last time that the faceless character whose identity still remains a mystery, posted on his page, was on 11 August 2014, the period when The Sunday Mail editor, Edmund Kudzayi was arrested on charges of being the administrator of the page which has 409 074 followers.
Yesterday the mysterious blogger posted on three times. On the first occasion he indicated that deposed Zanu-PF's administration secretary Didymus Mutasa is innocent of all the accusations he has received from party officials. On the second post, Jukwa stated that "three more junior CIOs are going to disappear between 15 February and 5 March" while in the last post he rapped opposition by the police to remarks by a High Court Judge that collection of spot fines at roadblocks is illegal.
By close of business hours yesterday, over 1 000 people had already reacted to the postings- majority welcoming the return of the blogger and urging more "revelations."
The development is likely to cause further stir in Zanu-PF which is currently locked in internal investigations falling the tumble of Mugabe at the Harare airport recently where photos of the incident leaked to the media despite the fact that the CIO forced all journalists to delete any soon after the tumble. Mugabe's aides and the CIO top brass are now being investigated for leaking the photos.
Baba Jukwa is understood to be either a member of Mugabe's spy agency, the security chiefs or a senior Zanu-PF insider.
