Birthday party hosted for President Mugabe

The office of the President and Cabinet today threw a belated birthday party for President Robert Mugabe, who turned 91 on Saturday, the 21st of February.
Speaking at the colourful event in Harare, Vice President Emmerson Mnangagwa said he is privileged to have worked with President Mugabe as he is a man of great wisdom.
His counterpart, Vice President Phelekezela Mpoko said President Mugabe's long life is in fulfillment of the Biblical promise in Psalm 21.
The Chief Secretary to the President and Cabinet, Dr Misheck Sibanda said the elevation of Mugabe to be the chairman of both SADC and the African Union underscores the revolutionary principals of the iconic leader.
The national celebrations of President Mugabe's birthday, the 21st February Movement, will be held in Victoria Falls this coming Saturday 28 February.
Mugabe was born on 21 February 1924, and his birthday is regarded as a day to reflect on the roles he has played in liberating and developing Zimbabwe.
