A debt-stricken Harare man Blessing Matsikenyere has threatened to shoot the Deputy Sheriff and his team while executing a court order.
The Deputy Sheriff had gone to remove property at Number 4 Buffet Crescent in New Alexandra Park to recover a debt of more than $16 000 owed to Windmill.
It is alleged after loading the truck, Matsikenyere who was not present, came and produced a fire arm threatening to shoot before ordering the Deputy Sheriff's officers to off load all the property.
There was pandemonium as some of the officers jumped over a precast wall to escape the advancing Matsikenyere.
The Deputy Sheriff reported the matter to Avondale police station under RRB Number 2316475.
He was then accompanied by police officers back to Matsikenyere's residence.
Matsikenyere, however, barred them from his premises further threatening to shoot them.
