Chombo wants to grab Mliswa's farm

Expelled Zanu-PF legislator for Hurungwe West Temba Mliswa has made sensational claims that Local Government Minister Chombo wants to grab his Karoi farm as the ruling party ugly fights intensifies.

Mliswa made the claims as it emerged that miffed party youths who are angered by the defiance of former admin Mutasa and Mliswa were also planning to storm and grab the two men's farms.

But Mliswa charged that it was Chombo who had designs on his farm, rather than party youths as was being claimed.

In November, Dumisani Daniel Mliswa has filed an urgent High Court application seeking an interdict and spoliation order against Zanu-PF youths who allegedly invaded his farm last month.

Mliswa, who is a brother of the party's deposed Mashonaland West provincial chairperson Temba Mliswa, said the Zanu-PF youths invaded his 543-hectare Mepo Farm in Makoni district accusing him of being related to ousted Presidential Affairs minister Didymus Mutasa.
