A BULILIMA man died mysteriously after he was attacked by a baboon which only he could see.

Langanani Tshuma, 20, of Masendu area died on Wednesday evening while his family watched helplessly as he struggled with a "baboon" which they could not see.

The deceased's mother, Betty Tshuma, said she heard her son scream from his bedroom hut around 8PM. She said she found him struggling and writhing in pain on the floor.

"On the day of the incident ray son retired to bed around 7PM which wasn't usual of him. He told me that he wasn't feeling well An hour later I heard him scream from his hut

"He was struggling and rolling on the ground and kept screaming that a baboon was attacking him. We could not see the baboon but he appeared to be in great pain," Tshuma said.

She said she tried to calm her son but he kept on rolling and sometimes jumping around the room which made him uncontrollable.
