President Robert Mugabe says only God gives life, adding that he has never believed in spirit mediums or n'angas (sangomas).
Addressing guests at the 21st February Movement celebrations in Victoria Falls today, Mugabe said he is grateful to have lived until this day, despite at attempt on his life and office as President by some former Zanu PF officials lead by ex-Vice President Joice Mujuru.
"It is God who gives life, He is the one who gave me this long life and I want to thank him for that," he said.
President Mugabe took a dig at Dr Mujuru, claiming that she used juju to try to depose him.
President: 'She even hired some Nigerian n'angas, who ordered her to get 10 chickens and each was named after all of us who were believed to be against them. All the chickens were slaughtered in belief that all of us including Amai Mugabe and [Vice President] Mnangagwa will not live up to this day.'
On the economy, President Mugabe had no kind words for the corrupt, saying there are many corrupt people occupying public office.
He added that even the former minister and ex-Zanu PF Secretary for Administration, Didymus Mutasa failed to account for money meant for last December's Zanu-PF congress.
He urged for Zimbabweans to support government programmes such as the ZIMASSET and called for total ownership of natural resources by Zimbabweans.
The President also said the government will revise farm sizes, so that more people can be allocated land.
On youths, Mugabe said they must use knowledge they acquire from universities for the exploitation of the country's natural resources for the country to achieve total economic emancipation.
He urged the youths to be on the lookout for imperialists who are trying to re-colonise the country in the name of business partnerships and investments.
President Mugabe turned 91 last week and his birthday gives Zimbabweans a platform to celebrate the life of their liberator, who has dedicated his life to the empowerment of the indigenous people.
This year's celebrations were held under theme: 'Celebrating the Birth of Gushungo: The Icon of Zimbabwe's Liberation and Champion of Youth Empowerment.'
