The ejection of Zanu PF legislators Didymus Mutasa and Temba Mliswa from Parliament has prompted the MDC-T to write Speaker Jacob Mudenda to also remove 18 "rebels" who left the party to form MDC Renewal.
Mliswa and Mutasa were ejected from Parliament on Tuesday following their expulsion from Zanu PF.
MDC-T spokesperson Obert Gutu said, "we are pushing ahead with the recalling of 18 rebel MPs who defected to U MDC.
"Section 129 (1) (k) of the constitution of Zimbabwe is clear," said Gutu.
Gutu accused Mudenda of double standards for declaring Mliswa and Mutasa's seats vacant but ignoring their request to recall the 18 MPs.
