MDC leader Morgan Tsvangirai has been accused of lobbying the US President to renew sanctions on Zimbabwe.
In a facebook update, Psychology Maziwisa Zanu-PF's deputy director of information, says he is reliably informed that sanctions renewal was a result of several months of lobbying by Mr Tsvangirai.
"The renewal of sanctions by the American government on Zimbabwe a few days ago was, I'm reliably informed, the result of several months of desperate lobbying by Mr Tsvangirai.
Maziwisa claims that this is a good reminder that Tsvangirai is the embodiment of evil.
"Not only is this a primitive way of doing politics, it's a reminder that Tsvangirai is the embodiment of evil."
In the past Tsvangirai pleaded with the European Union to apply breaks on their sanctions-removal drive saying a removing of sanctions must be backed by constitutional reform within Zimbabwe.
