Kombi crash kills 7

Seven people were killed and 10 others injured when a Toyota Hiace they were travelling in burst a rear tyre and veered off the road before hitting a tree at the 155 kilometre peg along Masvingo-Beitbridge highway.
Police spokesperson, Chief Superintendant Paul Nyathi said the accident occurred on Friday evening and the un-registered Toyota Hiace was carrying mostly cross border traders from Masvingo.
Five people died on the spot while the other two died on admission at Neshuro Hospital in Mwenenzi.
The deceased are Gumbere Luka (47), Rosemary Nkala (37), Walter Muchineripi (34), Olivia Muzozviona, Benius Makamba (31), Precious Mugabe (31) and Vengai Munotii (35).
Police urged the public not to board un-registered vehicles.
