'Didymus Mutasa stole our slogan'

Progressive Democrats of Zimbabwe (PDZ) president Barbra Nyagomo has accused fired former Zanu-PF secretary for administration Didymus Mutasa of stealing her party slogan "People First", the Newsday reported.
Mutasa recently said he belonged to the "real" Zanu-PF whose slogan was "People First", which incidentally happens to be PDZ's motto.
"It is shocking that Mutasa, who is now fighting for political relevance after being chucked out of the gravy train, wants to appear as if he has the people at heart," Nyagomo said on Saturday in a statement sent from her United Kingdom base.
This is the same Mutasa who persecuted political opposition not so long ago in Manicaland province. He was President Robert Mugabe's close lieutenant for years.
He served the same system that plundered the country, disregarding the people's will and should never speak like a saint.
Nyagomo challenged Mutasa to leave out her party motto in his fights with Zanu-PF, claiming her party had registered the slogan with the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission.
