Gumbo, Gutu opportunistic attack of Mugabe; they run with the hare hunt with the dogs!

Didymus Mutasa and Rugare Gumbo have since lodge the Court challenge of the legality of last year's Zanu PF elections given that the party failed to follow its own constitutional procedure. Mugabe has since responded to the challenge by threatening any judge who dares to hear the case. Rugare Gumbo is fearful that the judge may be influenced by Mugabe's threats and rule against him.
"There is selective justice in Zimbabwe," moaned Rugare Gumbo. "Some favoured ones always get the best justice, while the worst goes to those unfavoured ones."
It has taken 34 years and being kicked out of Zanu PF for Gumbo to finally realise this. Is he a slow learner or what?
"This old man (Mugabe) has got absolutely no respect for both the Constitution and also for the principle of constitutionalism," said MDC-T spokesman, Obert Gutu commenting on Mugabe's threats against the judge.
"He is operating like a classic tin pot dictator".
The hypocrisy and opportunism of Mr Gutu is sickening! Tsvangirai, Gutu's boss, changed the MDC's constitution so he could stay in power beyond the two terms limit, for example; what "respect for both the constitution and also for the principle of constitutionalism" was MDC showing then?
It has been one and half years since Obert Gutu, Morgan Tsvangirai, Tendai Biti, Welshman Ncube and other MDC leaders lost their cabinet positions and, for many of them, their parliamentary seats too and with it their seats on the gravy train. They have missed the life comforts of the gravy train so, so much it is now showing in their rank opportunism.
MDC has been taking advantage of the country's economic meltdown to ask Mugabe to invite them back into government and thus back on the gravy train; not because they would accomplish anything of economic or political significance when they failed to do so in the first GNU. Gutu is calling Mugabe a "tin pot dictator" out of frustration Mugabe has not agreed to allowing them back on the gravy train. Throughout the GNU years Obert Gutu and all his MDC colleagues were all over Mugabe like excited puppies tripping over each other in their praise of Mugabe.
If Mugabe was to agree to another GNU, the country's economic meltdown has reached a critical stage and it is clear the situation cannot continue GNU mark 2 would be the easier option for Mugabe to stepping down and giving up power. If Mugabe was to do that Obert Gutu and company will be back their puppy-duties forgetting they ever called Mugabe a dictator.
Mugabe is a dictator and for Zimbabwe end this economic meltdown we need to end the Zanu PF dictatorship which is what MDC should have done during the GNU years by implementing ALL the democratic reforms. They failed to get even one reform implemented. GNU mark 2 will not dismantle the Zanu PF dictatorship but will give Zanu PF a measure of legitimacy and MDC leaders back on the gravy train. As for the ordinary Zimbabweans it will mean another lost opportunity to end the Zanu PF dictatorship which we must do first before the task of rebuilding the nation can finally start in earnest.
The people of Zimbabwe have been cheated and robbed all their basic humans and dignity by Mugabe and his thugs in the first instance but they must not underestimate the role others like the Rugare Gumbos and Obert Gutus of this world have played in their long suffering. People like Gumbo and Gutu only condemn Mugabe now because it is politically expedient for them to do so; they run with the hare and hunt with the dogs, that makes them even more dangerous to the hare than the dogs.
