Happy 63rd birthday to Morgan Tsvangirai

HIS bitter rival celebrated his 91st birthday in grand style last month but MDC-T leader Morgan Tsvangirai chose to mark his own 63rd birthday with a low-key function.

President Robert Mugabe's birthdays are a national event and this year was no exception, as supporters threw a grand $1 million bash for the ageing leader in Victoria Falls.

Morgan Richard Tsvangirai was born 10 March 1952in the Buhera area in then Southern Rhodesia, to Karanga parentage through his father Dzingirai-Chibwe Tsvangirai and mother Lydia Tsvangirai (née Lydia Zvaipa).
