Mupungu claims that as Minister of Information Media and Broadcasting, Dzamara is Moyo's subject.

"Minister of Information,Media & Broadcasting Services.Am I right?Itai Dzamara is your direct concern???"

But Prof Moyo insists that he cannot give information he doesn't have, and those concerned should ask Tsvangirai as he says he know what has happened to Dzamara.

"I cant give information I dont have on claims I dont know. Tsvangirai says he knows, ask him 2 assist ZRP," said Moyo.

Jessie Dendere weighed in saying "But, Itai being a journo, have you made any efforts to find out what happened? To update us."

Prompting Prof Moyo to claim that Dzamara is not his subject as he doesn't oversee political activists.

"Our info is he's a former jurno whose now a political activist. We dont oversee activists," said Prof Moyo.

Prof Moyo has asked those concerned about Dzamara's wherabouts to ask MDC-T leader Morgan Tsvangirai 'who has spoken like he knows what happened.'

Mupungu said, "A citizen is reported abducted & Zim gov refers questions to leader of opposition-Tsvangirai? ZanuPF clearly don't care?"

And Prof Moyo responded by saying, "Only Morgan Tsvangirai has spoken like he knows what happened. He should update those who want 2 know & assist the Police."

Mupungu contiued his engagement with Prof Moyo saying, "Remind me of the portfolio @ProfJNMoyo holds in ZanuPF gov please. They know where #ItaiDzamara is."

Prof Moyo's repsonse was, "No need to investigate that. I am Zanu PF's Secretary for Science & Technology."

Pro-democracy activists Itai Dzamara was allegedly abducted in Harare on Monday and has not been heard from since.

The activist and associates have been staging sit-ins at Harare's Africa Unity Square calling for democratic reforms and President Mugabe's resignation.

Tsvangirai called a press conference in Harare Tuesday where he blamed the Zanu-PF regime for Dzamara's disappearance.

"We are in no doubt as to the perpetrators of this abduction," said the MDC-T leader.

"We hold Mugabe and his regime responsible for this morbid and senseless act.

"The President, who is also AU and SADC chair, cannot preside over a country where innocent citizens get abducted and disappear."
