Mugabe meets Japanese agency boss

The president of the Japanese International Corporation Agency Mr Akihiko Tanaka has met with President Robert Mugabe at his hotel in Sendai, Japan.

During the meeting Mr Tanaka said the agency is keen to work with Zimbabwe in its developmental initiatives.

The one hour discussion was centred on how Japan wants to assist Zimbabwe in the economic sector and value addition on a variety of goods and services.

On Sunday, President Mugabe is expected to meet the Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe for a bilateral discussion focusing on Japan-Zimbabwe relations.
