Cop stabbed by wife for demanding unprotected sex

A Police officer based at Chatsworth in Gutu got admitted at Masvingo General Hospital when he came home drunk and was stabbed by his wife for demanding unprotected sex.
Police in Masvingo declined to comment on the matter.
On the day in question, Constable Savious Mlahleki (26) is said to have returned home drunk from the beer hall. Upon arrival he allegedly demanded to have unprotected sex with his wife Melody Matuke (21) but she refused.
According to a reliable source Mlahleki did not take this well leading to a misunderstanding. The wife allegedly refused to have unprotected sex as she suspected that her husband was sleeping around with prostitutes.
When the wife refused, Mlahleki allegedly threatened her with a knife which she grabbed away from him and stabbed him.
The matter was then reported to Chatsworth police station and Mlahleki was admitted at Masvingo Provincial Hospital as he sustained injuries.
Police in Masvingo declined to comment on the matter.
