Mnangagwa's wife accused of assault

A Zanu-PF official from Chirumanzu-Zibangwe constituency has accused the party' parliamentary candidate Auxillia Mnangagwa of publicity insulting him and inciting party youths to assault him for allegedly defacing her campaign posters.

According to Newsday, Mashoko Hlomayi claims that the incident occurred at a Zanu-PF rally in Mvuma on Sunday.

Hlomayi said he went to the meeting where Mnangagwa's was addressing people and she said she was not happy because there was someone at the meeting who was pulling down her campaign posters in favour of other candidates.

She asked the person to stand but after no one stood up and she then pointed at him saying he was the one pulling down posters and was slapped in the face and then he reported the matter to the police.

Asked for comment Auxillia denied the assault allegations.
