President Robert Mugabe arrived home yesterday morning, but is today set to fly to Namibia for the inauguration of President-elect Hage Geingob which will coincide with the country's 25th Independence anniversary tomorrow.
Mugabe who has been busy in the year since his arrival from his annual leave on January 21 flew out eight days ago for medical checkups in Singapore before proceeding to the United Nations 3rd World Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction in Japan.
Today he leaves for Namibia hardly 24 hours after arriving back home.
Mugabe's continued absence from Zimbabwe, faced with a myriad of challenges among them food riots at Chikurubi Maximum Security Prison and at State universities, a declining economy and impending food shortages has raised eyebrows among citizens whether he was being properly briefed on domestic problems given his numerous trips.
