Zanu-PF activist who always claim to be a political commentor Psychology Maziwisa yesterday hit back at the MDC-T spokesperson Obert Gutu saying it is worst for him to challenge him (Maziwisa as sharp as he is on what he claimed was a clear issue he had remarked on about President Robert Mugabe having gone to Japan summit accompanied by his daughter Bona.

Maziwisa had earlier on attacked the MDC-T leader Morgan Tsvangiari for complaining about the issue saying the MDC-T leader must not be complaining since he travelled on innumerable foreign missions with concubines, most of whom are young enough to be his daughters.

Gutu then attacked Maziwisa saying he is a misguided young man.

But Maziwisa  hit back saying  one of the worst things that can befall any spin chief is to venture into a contest with someone who is much sharper and more thoughtful than he is.

"Obert Gutu is, sadly, in this kind of situation today," said Maziwisa.

"I issued a very straightforward statement yesterday in which I made the case for the inclusion of madam Bona on President Mugabe's trip to Japan recently.

"Instead of responding to my statement point by point, as would be expected from a normal spin doctor, Gutu decided instead to go personal, ignoring my argument completely, and doing such a sordid job in his attempt to defend Morgan Tsvangirai's despicable leadership style."

He said of course none of this surprised him at all and there is a certain level of depth, logic, detachment and intellectual capacity that any serious spokesperson must possess.

"Gutu, for all his nominal claim to the contrary, possesses none of that," he said. "There was a time, not so long ago, when the MDC-T lacked seriousness in virtually every other respect except its information department. For example, Chamisa and Mwonzora were both hopeless souls in the sense that they served under a hopeless leader with a hopeless cause. They still do."

He said but the common denominator between them, which made things a little more hopeful, was that, no matter how wrong they were in their arguments, they demonstrated a level of wit, brilliance and intellect. They were serious people.

"Regrettably and quite evidently, Gutu is the complete opposite of that. Emotional, stupid, intellectually bankrupt and completely out of his depth- he is a 53 year old with the brain of a 5 year old," he said. "He needs to shut up and spend a bit of time learning from the best.

"Moreover, his miserable attempt at defending Tsvangirai's wretched leadership record was particularly laughable. Gutu needs to appreciate that no matter how much lip stick you put on a dog- it still remains a dog."
