Man (20) intoxicates, rapes neighbour's wife

A 20 YEAR OLD Hwange man, Stephen Moyo is in trouble with the law after he reportedly got a fellow villager's wife drunk and later sneaked into her blankets are had sex with her without her 'consent'.

The woman is aged 49.

The court heard that the two went out for a drink at  a bar early this month.

The woman went to her homestead alone but Moyo who had got wind that her husband was away followed the woman.

Moyo, armed with a condom entered the woman's blankets, undressed her and later raped the woman.

According to B-Metro, the following morning around 2 am, the woman woke up and got a shock of her life when Moyo greeted her.

She also spotted used condoms close by and Moyo fled the house after a dispute.

However, the women did not make a report of the incident.

But days later, the court heard, Moyo returned to the woman's homestead intending to beg for more sex but she refused.

That angered Moyo and threatened to assault the woman who attempted to run away from Moyo,

She managed to make good her escape and told neighbours leading to Moyo's arrest.

In court, Moyo denied the rape allegations saying he only failed to pay $10 which the woman demanded for sex.

Hwange regional magistrate Dambudzo Malunga remanded Moyo to March 24 .
