'MDC-T has abducted Dzamara'

A shadowy State media pseudo writer believed to be presidential spokesperson, George Charamba says Morgan Tsvangirai's MDC is responsible for the disappearance of activist Itai Dzamara.
State media columnist, Nathaniel Manheru in his latest column in The Herald yesterday said Zanu PF has nothing to do with Dzamara's disappearance.
"The MDC-T has Dzamara. He is their activist," wrote Manheru.
"They will most probably keep him away for a while, spirit him into exile like they did with another such, a few years ago. Or at worst, they kill him, to make a desperate point. Well let them know that to do the worst is to shed blood needlessly, given that there are no takers anymore. All eyes are now trained on Zanu-PF, not for blame, but for the future which the West wishes is post-Mugabe," he added.
Dzamara's family on Monday rubbished all theories suggesting that the activist engineered his disappearance, warning that it had engaged its legal team to deal with all those perpetuating malicious lies.
"We have already engaged legal team and police who are handling the matter and I am sure that before the end of the day (last Monday) some headway would have been made in as far as bringing them to accountability because they claim that they know where the person we are looking for is. Even government is looking for that person and as such they should tell us," he said.
"There have been a lot of rumours, versions and theories promulgated by various individuals or media outlets, some of which are certainly malicious lies. Never the less, we give it to them. They are entitled to their positions. Meanwhile, as a family we keep our minds and focus stayed on the mission of finding Itai.
"We perceived a bigger hand in this and we unequivocally reject the notion that this is grandstanding effort masterminded by him and his colleagues," added Patson.
Controversial musician cum politician Energy Mutodi wrote on his Facebook wall that Dzamara was hiding in Botswana.
