Tsvangirai visits Dzamara family

Opposition leader Morgan Tsvangirai yesterday visited the family of abducted pro-democracy activit Itai Dzamara and insisted that a desperate and panicking Zanu-PF was behind the 35 year-old former journalist's much-condemned disappearance.
Tsvangirai said Dzamara had been taken in broad day light by people who were clearly law enforcement agents, and who had promptly gone on to arrest and "handcuff" the fearless critic of President Robert Mugabe.
The former prime minister said Dzamara, who has been missing for three weeks now, should be released immediately, particularly since the High Court had ordered the State to find him.
"The whole nation is disturbed about the whereabouts of Dzamara. Up to now, no one knows where he is but the State must know and must release him," Tsvangirai said after spending some time with the family at their Glen Norah home.
