Commuter omnibus in collision with train

A commuter omnibus was dragged for about 100 metres in Banket today when it collided with a train at a rail crossing line.
The commuter bus was traveling to Harare carrying seven passengers.
The seven passengers are said to have escaped injuries with four of them rushed to Banket Hospital where they are admitted.
Details of the accident are still sketch but according to a ZBC report, the driver is reported to have first hesitated to cross the railway line before changing his mind in a moment.
Officer Commanding Police Makonde District Chief Superintendant Godfrey Moyo blamed the driver of the commuter omnibus for being reckless and negligent by failing to observe mandatory traffic regulations.
