Teacher bashes municipal cop for clamping his car

A Masvingo Municipal Police is nursing injuries after getting  a thorough beating last Friday from a teacher from Mapanzure High school whose car he had clamped.

The complainant is Lieutanant Dimba of Rujeko in Masvingo was allegedly kicked in the ribs and poked in the eyes resulting in some injuries.

Chenjerai Kiston inflicted the injuries, Masvingo Mirror reported.

It is the State case that on March 13, 2015 Kiston's friend Cleopas Chauraya parked his vehicle with registration number ACT 7342 outside Tsungai building in Masvingo and they went into PNT shop to buy school uniforms.

Allegations are that when the two came back, they found the vehicle clamped and Chauraya went to Masvingo City Council to pay for the clamped vehicle.

When the complainant came back he found the accused person attempting to remove the clamp.

Kiston then kicked Dimba on his hands and ribs four times and also poked him on the eye.

The complainant sustained a swollen eye and was not medically examined.
