The National Political Commissar in the Zanu PF youth wing, Innocent Hamandishe has urged government to consider youths in land distribution as well as indigenisation and economic empowerment programmes.
Hamandishe told youths who attended the Zanu PF inter-district conference in Lupane that the resolutions from the National People's Conference in Mutare and the Zanu PF Congress in Harare should be implemented to ensure that youths benefit from the natural resources.
He urged youths to be strong, stand by the President and protect the party from enemies as well as dubious leaders who have selfish agendas, adding that they should immediately report all corrupt leaders who are out to destroy the party.
The national youth executive also expressed gratitude to youths for their effort in ensuring the success of the 21st February Movement celebrations in Victoria Falls.
The Zanu PF youth inter-district conference was aimed at reviewing the progress in implementing resolutions that seek to empower young people in the party and was attended by the National Youth Executive as well as youths drawn from the seven districts in the province.
