Violence rocks Harare South

Harare South was yesterday rocked by violence as Ushewokunze Housing Cooperative members, all of whom are Zanu-PF supporters, clashed over how to compensate CFI Holdings for the land on which the residents are settled.
The melee played out right in front of Harare South legislator Shadreck Mashayamombe and Zanu PF politburo member Cleveria Chizema.
The chaos started when Ushewokunze Housing Cooperative chairman Ezekiel Karimanzira pin-pointed people from the crowd who were against a government directive for residents to compensate CFI Holdings, the owners of the land.
