On the day that powerful First Lady Grace Mugabe returned to the Zanu-PF politburo, the faction-riddled party yesterday expelled deposed Vice President Joice Mujuru claiming she was indisciplined.
As the brutal purges instigated by Grace continue, the party's politburo resolved to expel Mujuru and just like former Presidential affairs minister Didymus Mutasa and maverick politician Temba Mliswa, the ex-VP was never summoned for hearing.
Other ministers who were sacked alongside Mujuru included ICT minister Webster Shamu, minister of State for Mashonaland East province Simba Mudarikwa, Indigenisation minister Francis Nhema, Higher and Tertiary Education minister Olivia Muchena, Labour and Public Service minister Nicholas Goche, Presidential Affairs minister Didymus Mutasa, Energy minister Dzikamai Mavhaire and his deputy Munacho Mutezo.
Kudakwashe Bhasikiti, the former Masvingo presidential Affairs minister, was the latest in a list of casualties the brutal purges against the ex-VP's sympathisers have claimed.
