The Netherlands is seeking to promote growth in Zimbabwe's agriculture sector by attracting investment in the ailing industry.
The European nation, in a report commissioned by the Royal Netherlands Embassy in Harare, identified several subsectors in agriculture such as horticulture, aquaculture and livestock production that can be revived by Dutch capital.
"Zimbabwe has a long history of strong governmental interference with agriculture which contributed to a flourishing agriculture sector- commercial and smallholder," read part of the study titled Agribusiness in Zimbabwe: Opportunities for economic cooperation.
