Zimbabwe has great future: Evangelist Ashimolowo

United Kingdom-based Nigerian pastor, Mathew Ashimolowo says it is a matter of time before Zimbabwe gets her breakthrough and that problems facing the country are the same challenges that are faced globally, but the important thing is focusing on what God says to his people.
Pastor Ashimolowo said he brought a message of hope to the people of Zimbabwe irrespective of the challenges that the country had gone through. "I am bringing a message of hope and healing to the Zimbabweans. Zimbabwe has a great future and there will be a turn around since a might move of God is about to hit the country".
Ashimolowo was preaching at a Harvest House International (HHI) Apostolic and Prophetic Conference on 6th and 7th of August 2011 that was held at the Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo.
Ashimolowo said people should change their mindsets and not listen to what the media report about Africa but concentrate on God, who is able to do great and mighty things. He chronicled his life on how he grew up in Northern Nigeria and gave all the credit to God.
He challenged people to work towards success and not to allow mediocrity. "My mandate is to teach the people undiluted word of God. As a pastor my job is to spread the word of God to a dying world, encourage individuals to develop themselves spiritually, heal the broken-hearted and to see the sick being healed." He is a respected leader and sits on the Board of Reference for God TV. He is also considered a Christian-thought leader, Biblical scholar and media commentator on a variety of issues.
Pastor Ashimolowo converted to Christianity from Islam at the age of 22 after the death of his father before enrolling with a Bible school. He is the senior pastor of Kingsway International Christian Centre (KICC) and commands a huge following in the United Kingdom.
KICC was started out in 1992 with 11 members but has grown to over 12,000 members. It is a very multicultural church, with over 40 nations represented in the church.
