'Mujuru's accusation just smear campaign,' as Zanu PF is accused of killing her husband

Some political and social commentators have said accusations laid against former vice President Joice Mujuru are just smear campaign by her detractors who were aimed at ousting her from her [position as Vice President of both the party and the nation.

The remarks come at a time when Mujuru has since been expelled from the party on allegations of plotting to assassinate President Robert Mugabe, Corruption and ineptitude.

Black Sibasa said Mujuru has been accused of plotting to kill Mugabe, they claim to have evidence of a recorded Mujuru conversation, they claimed to have a corruption case and a witch craft plot. He questioned if Mujuru has been arrested over those criminal charges.

"Its all bull dung, Smear campaign that we will easily quash.," said Sibasa.  The "Mujuru empire is a Rex Nhongo creation . Its not Teurai Ropa who made those riches but she rather inherited them from Solomon."

He said the ball is rolling in Zanu PF purge of suspected to be aligned to Mujuru party members and numbers are increasingly interesting.

"The Team Mujuru is strategic and effective in its approach," he said. "The captain is kept away from the loading zone of the Ship. Let her continue planning for the long journey."

Sibasa said Mujuru has never been tried and proven guilty by any competent court of law and that makes her stand clean.

Victor Masango said Mujuru must come out in the open and boldly tell them that they killed her husband and now they are after her.

Ndangariro Maketiwa said Mujuru, former secretary for administration in Zanu PF Didymas Mutasa, Kudakwashe Bhasikiti former Masvingo provincial minister so on and so on are shady characters who now want to use the majority of the people.

"People first, people first what is that? All is utter garbage," said Masango. "They looted millions of dollars from the state coffers, they have been ruling for over 34 years and we are expected to put trust in Mujuru and Mutasa. Not me."

He said proof of Mujuru's corruption is however not  really there, but Solomon was a full general in the army, he's the guy that facilitated Mugabe to the presidency and Mugabe knows this.

"Do you honestly think there was supposed to be a thorough investigation to know who killed Rex than we saw shoddy cover - ups, look Mugabe is president of the country, sure a countrywide commissioning of inquiry was supposed to be set - up, Rex Nhongo was a big man, but nothing! What does that tell you, reading between the lines," he said.
