Prophetic Healing and Deliverance (PHD) ministries leader, Walter Magaya gave each Mighty Warriors player a bottle of his popular anointing oil ahead of crunch Ghana match at Rufaro Stadium today.
The Mighty Warriors hope to overturn a 2-1 deficit.
Magaya prayed for the girls during his Friday service.
During the service, Magaya also pledged to offset ballooning ZIFA debt.
The offer is in a bid to get rid of Zifa's $67 000 debt owed to former Warriors coach Valinhos.
"During his service Prophet Magaya pledged to donate money in the range of $28 000 to the Might Warriors which will go a long way in meeting their expenses. In addition Magaya asked our CEO Jonathan Mashingaidze about the Valinhos debt which had seen Fifa descending on us heavily, expelling Zimbabwe from the upcoming World Cup qualifiers," Zifa communication officer, Xolisani Gwesela is quoted staying by the Standard.
According to the Standard, Mashingaidze approached Magaya on the possibility of assisting clearing the debt.
Mayaya is said to have assured Mashingaidze to assist.
