Man breaks wife's hand over cash

A married Harare woman got her hand broken by her hubby after she followed him to a night club to ask for money to buy paraffin.

Jessica Fungisai was left nursing wounds inflicted by Forward Savaka.

She had braved the darkness around 4am to leave her home to track down her hubby.

According to H-Metro, Fungisai located Savaka at Coldaz Sport Bar and asked for cash.

That incensed Savaka who left the bar with Fungisai and assaulted her, slapping and kicking until she fell to the ground.

She fractured her right hand.

Savaka was  charged with physical abuse in contravention of the Domestic Violence  Act.

He was handed a 10 month jail sentence of which four months were suspended for five years.
