Midlands cracks whip on Mujuru allies

The Zanu-PF Midlands provincial executive has cracked the whip on members suspected to be aligned to former vice president Joice Mujuru.

The officials could face the axe at today's provincial coordinating committee meeting.

Makhosini Hlongwane, the Midlands provincial commissar told party members on Wednesday that those aligned to Mujuru would today know their fate.

Among top officials to face the chop is former provincial chairman, Jason Machaya who was fired last year on allegations of fanning factionalism.
