A 24-year-old man was killed early last week after a gold mine he was operating in collapsed in Chegutu.
It took relatives four days to exhume the body of Blessing Vale before a proper burial was conducted for the young Chegutu man.
Eye witnesses said Blessing and his three friends were in Pick Stone Mine before the tragic collapse that led to the death of Blessing.
The Deputy Minister of Home Affairs, Ziyambi Ziyambi, who attended the burial, said government should support small scale miners
National Assembly of the area, Dexter Nduna said it is sad that most of the gold sold to Fidelity Printers and Refiners is from the informal sector and yet little is done to support them.
