Tsvangirai stop waffling and put your house in order

As Zimbabweans are still celebrating 35 years of Independence, it is worrisome that people like MDC-T leader, Morgan Tsvangirai tour around local cities mobilizing youths to ignore the history of how Zimbabwe attained its sovereignty from the bondage of the white colonial rule.

It is disheartening that a grown up man like Tsvangirai fails to acknowledge the liberation struggle that our gallant sons and daughters went through to free this nation. Mr Tsvangirai should stop thinking like the Zulu people, who fail to recognize the importance of fellow Africans just because they are foreigners who dwell in their land. Tsvangirai should be reminded that independence commemorations are held annually as a way of appreciating the efforts that were employed by our living and dead heroes/ heroines.

Tsvangirai, who is still finding ways to regain relevance in the political field, addressed a handful of congregates in Gweru, Mkoba where he was attacking President Mugabe who is among heroes who brought about the fruits of independence such as peace and tranquility that we are enjoying as a nation today.

The embattled MDC-T leader foolishly condemned President Mugabe saying he was a testimony of failure.

"Mugabe is a testimony of failure, we do not talk about him anymore because his failure is there for everyone to see," said Tsvangirai.

Honestly, Morgan never ceases to amaze me.  In almost all of his rallies, Tsvangirai cannot finish his speeches without mentioning President Mugabe. So, Mr Tsvangirai, which Mugabe are you talking about when you say you no longer talk about him anymore. You just have to admit it that you can't say anything at any of your gatherings without saying ‘Mugabe'.

What you really need to do is to put your house in order and find something tangible that you can share with our audiences at your rallies. Tsvangirai's utterances are barren of meaningful and sound ideas that can assist the nation in developing the economy. Remember Mr Morgan that you were once the prime minister of this country. During your time, you were given the opportunity to enact policies that you, in your capacity as the premier, thought that they were more vibrant than that of ZANU-PF. If my memory is right, I don't remember any. No wonder why most of Tsvangirai's supporters doubt his political competence.

In short, Tsvangirai should just leave the President and his ruling party, and concentrate on MDC-T.

Recently, Tsvangirai caused confusion in his party when he insisted that his party members were all forced to boycott the June 10 by-elections. Tsvangirai, who claimed that he is the originator of democracy in as far as Zimbabwean politics is concerned, is always found on the wrong side of his words. Surely, how can a leader suppress his party members to participate in by-elections?  You respect is declining by each day Morgan, and this a fact. People need a leader who uses his brain to think constructively. If a party leader like Tsvangirai fails to manage just a small number of people, how then can he lead the nation?

What continues to drag Tsvangirai's leadership ladder down is his incapability to get rid of tense situations in his party. Only last week that Tsvangirai failed to show up in Bulawayo where he was supposed to address a number of party supporters who were protesting over the issue of by-elections. By not attending the Bulawayo rally Tsvangirai proved that he was a very weak, epic failure who feared humiliation from his own party members. It is believed that a political party leader should be physically and mentally strong.

It boggles the mind when you hear that Tsvangirai will be addressing a number of his disgruntled supporters at rallies dubbed as, "no reforms, no election". According to him, all reforms must be implemented before any election. But what reforms are you crying for Mr Tsvangirai. Quote me wrong Morgan, isn't it that everyone agreed to the new constitution, including you and your supporters? Is it also wrong that every citizen participated to produce the changes that are in today's constitution?

It is a routine in most African opposition political parties, that upon losing support from electorates they boycott the elections. A typical example is that of Sudan.  Last year, Sudan's opposition Congress Party leader, Ibrahim al-Sheikh, said that his party will boycott this year's elections claiming that the political climate did not allow fair polls.

Honestly, Tsvangirai should stop hiding behind the issue of electoral reforms. I have always noticed that when a person fails could it be at school, in life or politics, a blame game will be the next option. The MDC-T leader should just quit if politics is failing to make sense in his career.

The fact that you make your single decisions without consulting your partners will cost you. I foresee another split in your party. It's like there is now discrimination in MDC-T as those in Matabeleland are now linked to madam Thokozani Khupe.
