In an attempt to garner support from the electorate MDC-T leader, Morgan Tsvangirai says his party has set it sights on winning the 2018 general elections.
The MDC-T party, which has failed to unseat Zanu-PF from power, says they will only participate in elections if reforms are done to ensure what they term free, fair and credible polls.
Tsvangirai, who addressed party supporters in Kambuzuma in Harare today, put forward a cocktail of reasons highlighting the party's failure to ascend to the presidency.
"Zanu-PF has stolen the elections. They have never won free and fair," said Tsvangirai.
Tsvangirai also took aim at the Southern Africa Development Community (SADC) for what he termed as endorsement of the 2013 elections.
"SADC was complicit in ensuring that Zanu-PF won the elections. They should have stopped them from being held," he said.
Formed as an offshoot of the Zimbabwe Congress of Trade Unions (ZCTU) in 1999, the MDC-T has been grasping at straws as its former western backers have distanced themselves from the party.
