The MDC-T organising secretary Abednico Bhebhe has accused Zanu PF of  having double standards which havecaused serious problems for Zimbabwe in terms of politics and economy.

"Talk of Zanu PF double standards," he said.

"Zanu PF is a champion of double standards, disaster and hopelessness.  Zimbabwe will hold 14 by-elections on June 10 that will gobble nearly $40 million at a time when Finance Minister, Chinamasa says there is no money."

"In 2010, when the economy was 100% more stable than it is now, thanks to the MDC T in the GNU, Mugabe said there was no money to hold only 3 by-elections."

Bhebhe said Mugabe also defied a Supreme Court ruling calling for by-elections in Nkayi South, Bulilima East and Lupane East constituencies previously held by myself, Norman Mpofu and Njabuliso Mnguni respectively.
"Mugabe in his affidavit, filed on his behalf by Chinamasa, at the time said: "Sanctions imposed against the country and which are still continuing, have wreaked havoc on the economy of the country and the government finds itself in a situation where it has very little fiscal space," said Bhebhe.

"For this reason, and this reason alone, it has not been possible to hold by-elections to give effect to the constitution and our electoral laws."

He said in 2010, civil servants were getting their money and bonus on time.

"Fast-forward to 2015 when the economy is in shambles, on its knees because of Zanu PF's cluelessness to stop the free-fall but Mugabe and his party, being champions of double standards, have said by-elections should be held without fail," he said. "Is there any fiscal space now than in 2010? Zimbabwe is in the hands of an "evil satanic demon" ZPF."

Bhebhe said Chinamasa suspended bonuses till 2017 citing very little fiscal space, though the 91 year old man who has ruined this nation refuses to admit.

"These millions used for by-elections could have been channeled to food imports to prevent hunger-related deaths following the poor harvests. Zanu PF however doesn't give a hoot," he said.

"All they care about is where they can extend their energies n double standards."

But Bulisani Ncube countered Bhebhe saying he can not score an own goal and then blame ZANU PF.

"When you sat and agreed to cause by elections didnt you consider the cost of holding such. You played into ZANU PF's political game finish," he said.
