Sungura maestro Alick Macheso's surprise inclusion as guest performer at the Prophetic Healing and Deliverance Ministries' (PHD) first ever men's all night prayer session left the thousands who attended thoroughly thrilled.

As has become the norm with PHD Ministries leader Prophet Walter Magaya, his unorthodox approach to ministering continues to draw controversy though he attracts multitudes.

The first ever man's all night prayer session for the cleric and his flock was unusual and electric as it saw popular secular musician Macheso performing with his Orchestra Mberikwazvo Band.

Prophet Magaya said the inclusion of the popular Sungura icon was tailor made to attract men who mainly shun the word preferring to follow the entertainment scene.

In his take on the recent xenophobic attacks on fellow Africans in South Africa, Prophet Magaya said this is the work of the devil and should be condemned as it negatively affects spiritual and socio-economic relations between African nations.

His men's all night prayer session was attended by thousands of men who include some from regional countries and beyond who came in search of answers to a litany of problems that affect them.

After all has been said and done, Macheso proved why he is dubbed the 'Sungura King' through his well choreographed stage work which even men of God could not resist to swing and dance along to.
